Always measure width by height

For Surface Mount:

• Measure the inside width – we will add 4” to the width
• Measure the inside height – we will add 4” to the height

For Recess Mount

• Measure the inside width – we will subtract ½” from the width
• Measure the inside height – we will subtract ½” from the height

Considerations

• If you are in the design stage ensure that there is clear space for the installation of these shutters
• Require enough room above the shutter for hinges and 4” down for the support arms
• Exterior lights, bands or other that may affect installation
• Flat leveled, smooth surface required
